The lunch I had was the BEST I have ever eaten. I tried the chateaubriand sharer, tempura prawns, and Baileys cheesecake. I plan to return to explore more from the menu. The staff were friendly!!!
The sign was covered by foliage on A697, so it took a little bit of finding.

i found the double room private bathroom very clean and cute. it included tea, coffee, and a kettle. the breakfast offered a great choice and was available from 8 am to 10 am. the restaurant menu looked very lovely!
the decor felt a bit too modern for my taste. it lacked some of the cozy character it might have had before.

the restaurant served a generous sunday roast with beautifully cooked roast pork and crackling. my partner enjoyed the fish and chips with curry sauce. the portions were large and the fish tasted fresh, encased in light batter.

The breakfast included was really great. I appreciated the delicious food in the restaurant (especially the breakfast). The location seemed very quiet, so I had a good night's sleep.
The sunday menu was limited. The wine menu was awful, i felt the wine was cheap with a great wine price tag. The mattress needs replacing, i could feel the springs resulting in an uncomfortable night.
